MEET QUASI'S NEW KITTY COMPADRES
The World Is STILL Your Litter Box marks the debut of Quasi’s housemates and kitty pals, Bo Diddley and Piglet. Both cats, who are brothers, were adopted from a pet rescue organization shortly after the ill-advised-but-hilarious “Babysitting Guest Kittens” episode described in the book. Bo Diddley, or B.D. as we call him, is a plus-size cat like Quasi and a gentle, loving soul. Piglet is a little guy who is also very sweet, but a bit of a mess… hence his nickname, Pig. You’ll find out a lot more about both cats and their interactive relationship with Quasi in The World Is STILL Your Litter Box. That’s Pig (left) with his balloon and B.D. AUTOGRAPHED BOOKPLATES FOR QUASI’S BOOKS
If you purchased The World Is Your Litter Box, The World Is STILL Your Litter Box, or both, you are entitled to receive autographed bookplates for each book (signed by Steve and stamped by Quasi). For those unfamiliar with bookplates, they are not plates that you eat off of… they’re stickers resembling the book covers with room for a personalized message that may be placed inside the book.

… And the Kitty Knows It All Award goes to a little gem called The World Is Your Litter Box: A How-To Manual for Cats, (Sterling) written by Steve Fisher. This man certainly knows his place because he claims his cat Quasi is the author. And who can resist such chapter headings as “How to Annoy Humans Who Are Allergic to Cats” and “20 Good Places to Throw Up.”

BOOK SIGNING TOUR ENDS

THE WORLD IS YOUR LITTER BOX SELLS OUT IN LONG BEACH
Steve’s meet-and-greet book signing at Barnes & Noble in Long Beach, CA on Saturday, September 27th, was a major success. Twenty copies of The World Is Your Litter Box – all the copies they had in the store – were signed and sold in just slightly over two hours! And even though it was a hot, sunny day in Southern California, several people got an early start on their Christmas shopping by buying copies of Litter Box as gifts for their cat-loving friends. A very good time was had by all!
FIRST BOOK SIGNING A SMASHING SUCCESS
On May 10th, on Quasi’s behalf, Steve did the first book signing for The World Is Your Litter Box at Trinkets & Treasures in Studio City, California. A good time was had by all and the signing was a smashing success… 27 books were sold, which is pretty good (unless you’re J.K. Rowling or Stephen King or some famous author like that).
Quasi would also like to introduce you to Shill, his new book-signing emissary. Shill (pictured) is a cute robotic kitty that can meow, purr, hiss, turn his head and lift his tail… and he’s not afraid to leave the house, ride in a car, or appear in front of dozens of people, all of which would be mucho scary to a real cat. Shill will be standing in for Quasi at book signings (which means Quasi won’t have to make any changes to his napping schedule). So if Steve does a signing in your area, be sure to come by and pet Shill. Even though he’s robotic, he’s still a cat and loves attention.
